Fundraise at your School/Kura

Encourage your tauira/students to be Upstanders to help make Aotearoa a kinder, more inclusive place for all New Zealanders. Paint your kura or school māwhero/pink and fundraise to support this important mahi:

  • Have a ‘wear pink’ non-uniform or dress-up day for a donation.
  • ‘Wear it your way!’ Hold a fashion show or an art exhibition displaying pink t-shirts, which rangatahi have added their own flair to. You could charge a donation to be part of the fashion/art show.
  • Hold a bake sale – download cupcake toppers and bunting here or run a fun competition or a raffle.
  • Promote the official Pink Shirt Day t-shirt before the big day to your school community. Available from selected Cotton On stores and online from April. 100% of net proceeds support our work.
  • Creating an online page is a quick and easy way for your kura or school community to donate (we suggest a staff member sets up the official school site.) Share your fundraising page link through school newsletters, notices or social pages and offer it as a way to donate to your Pink Shirt Day event.
  • Share your fundraising page link and collect donations online from the kura or school community, or organise a raffle promote it through your newsletters.
