Wellesley Independent School for Boys - 'Create for a Cause' - Art fundraising for Mental Health

#wellesleygiving - 100% of donations made directly to this fundraising page will go to the Mental Health Foundation
At Wellesley we encourage our boys to discover their best through creativity and, with our specialist teaching, inspire them to explore pathways into creative careers. Under Wellesley’s community service initiative ‘Create for Cause’ our boys created fantastic artworks during Student ARTWEEK in September 2021 and these beautiful pieces were to be sold at the Residency & Student Art Exhibition which was to be held on Thursday 21st October 2021, 3.00 - 8.30pm. However, due to heightened Covid risk, we have had to make the tough decision (on Mon 18th October) to cancel this exhibition.
100% of donations made directly to this fundraising page will go to the Mental Health Foundation to provide other schools and communities with the tools they need to build positive mental health, wellbeing and resilience.
As part of Mental Health Awareness week, the Wellesley boys had a GREEN non-uniform day on Tuesday 28th September - to match the theme - " Get outside in nature with someone/ E puta ki te taiao" and the boys made gold coin donations totalling $395.70. Thank you to all our boys and their families for their donations which have now been added to this fundraising page.
We want to raise $3000, so please donate to our cause today! Every little bit counts. Donations are welcome from all our community friends and supporters - 100% will go back to the Mental Health Foundation.
Thank you for your support, Wellesley is proud to support the amazing work of the Mental Health Foundation.
