I'm fundraising for mental health
I've decided to do this run to try and raise money and awareness for mental health.
Personally, I have found that exercise is one of the best things that helps me when I'm not in a good head space. It can be really hard to find the motivation to go out for a run or to the gym, and I sometimes can't bring myself to do it but when I can it really does help clear my mind and release some stress. I have also learnt that talking about things really can make a huge difference to how you are feeling. I do find it difficult to talk about my feelings but I'm starting to get better at it and realise the benefits it can bring.
I'm really grateful to have Kara in my life as she has helped me with opening up to her and myself. To anyone reading this, I am always here to talk. It's important to check up on your mates because you can't always tell what someone's going through from the outside. Just checking in on someone can remind them they're not alone.
