Camino de Santiago

We are good to go!

I will be walking 764 km across the top of Spain, which is the full el Camino walk and will probably take me about 35 days. I have a challenge, being no kneecap and muscle loss in one leg due to a car accident many years ago. I have been on 5 day treks before and most have been quite harsh on the leg on the last day. This is 35 days, but knowing that you have donated to this cause will help me finish the trek. I will be training for the event and I'm leaving on August 15th 2019.  I'm doing this because nearly 50% of New Zealanders will experience a mental health problem in their lifetime, and I don’t want them to face it on their own. Your donation will help the Mental Health Foundation of NZ provide individuals, workplaces, schools and communities with the tools they need to build positive mental health and well-being. I want to raise $1000, so please donate to The Foundation today! Every little bit counts! Remember 1 in 5 people suffer from some sort of mental health problem in their life time. If it's not you then it is likely to be a family member or friend. Help me to help them.

Thank you to my Supporters

A friend of ours from here in Brisbane did this walk recently. It’s not easy mate, but I know you will see it through. It’s also a fantastic experience.
