Running for – not from – mental illness

By Katherine Batchelar

As a 'non runner' I will be completing not one but two marathons this year. I'm doing this because nearly 50% of New Zealanders will experience a mental health problem in their lifetime, and I don’t want them to face it on their own. Being an Intermediate teacher this is something that is incredibly close to my heart by knowing that this could have some serious impact on my very own students. Your donation will help the Mental Health Foundation of NZ provide individuals, workplaces, schools and communities with the tools they need to build positive mental health and wellbeing. I want to raise $3,500, so please donate to me today! Every little bit counts!

Thank you to my Supporters
