For many Wellingtonians, reality is different and life is hard

Whether you are sleeping rough, struggling to make ends meet or can’t put food on the table – The Wellington City Mission is here to help you. We provide transitional housing, rest home and hospital-level residential care, food parcels, emergency, 1:1, whānau and social work support, and financial mentoring.

We’ll walk alongside you, advocate on your behalf and support you to achieve empowerment, transformation and fullness of life.

  4. Update your page regularly to keep your friend's and whānau updated with your progress. Their donations are receipted automatically. No hassle, no worries!

Where the money raised will go

The money you raise will help us continue to provide food, housing and social work support to transform the lives of people in need all across Wellington.

Your donation could help provide a food parcel for a family in need, a hot drink and food in our Community Lounge in Newtown, accommodation in one of our housing facilities, or for a meeting with one of our social workers.

  • $5 could provide a free hot drink and meal in our Community Lounge
  • $10 could provide hygiene products to restore dignity for someone in need
  • $50 could provide a small weekly food parcel for a family in need
